Featured Glass paperweight with lattice and aventurine

Found this gorgeous glass paperweight recently. I remember the lattice term, and the cane flower at the top, but are the gold aventurine lines called threads or ribbons? They look flat in the photos, but are round.

It's 3" in diameter, with a flat polished bottom, no other maker's mark. I've always wanted to find a paperweight with a signature cane, but the ones on this are pretty plain.

Any guesses on origin? I'd appreciate your insights. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

Italian from the look of it. I wish the makers had thought to sign it, but of course didn't.

I guessed Italian / Murano, too. I see several unsigned ones online which only have a foil label, but no signature. Maybe that's why.
