Hi im new here. Just wondering if anyone has seen a bowl like this that is double layer porcelain? Its quite thick as it is sort of folded over itself? I assume it is to keep soup or something hot? Thankyou in advance for any info :)

The base rim seems to resemble some I found from Arnel's which I think might have made ceramic molds. It makes me wonder if your bowl might have be from that type. Any chance there is an impressed name or something?

I think you hit the nail on the head, SIS. I see a set with the same bowl mold that says it's marked on the pitcher. I don't think these are full size sets.

Sorry for the late reply. I could not find any marks at all. I think it is definitely the base of a set. Thankyou for your help!!
