    Hi,
I found this painting at a thrift store last week & am hoping its not a "factory" painting - I think its cool; reminds me of Mary Poppins, I think!

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

    PS - it measures 12 x 10 w/frame and 7.25 x 5.25 the art itself.
Does it qualify as a miniature painting (for selling)
    Thank you!

That screams 1950s-1960s. And decorative. I would be very skeptical about the 1907 date.

It appears to be painted on masonite which would support that date. So would the staples.

The artist was a bit challenged with the foreshortening of the subject's arm and hand.

A narrow audience, but maybe with the right sensibilities it can be loved. :phantom:

She's from the Brass Era of automobiles and bicycles. Late 60s to early 70s would be my guess. That's when pictures of those cars were white hot. This was something for the ladies that coordinated.

That looks right. Nothing about him on the internet and not sure why he's referred to as "Luis Ramon" when he signed his name "Ramon LL" (which might lead one to believe he was Catalan.)

I wonder if it's a modern repro of an original 1907 painting.

Ramon is the artist, Paris 1907 is the title, as per other examples.
