Hard to read but it was The Blues Project, The Mothers, The Canned Heat Blues Band. Fri & Sat was $3.00 and Sunday was $2.00. Imagine. Feb. 17, 18, 19. It had to be 1969 because that's when I lived in San Francisco. My misspent youth.

I bet it would sell for more than you paid for the tickets.

The white background has printed text showing from the opposite side. This leads me to think this smaller than a poster, maybe this is a postcard, 5" x 7.75"

Original 6'' x 9'' and 8'' x 10" early free handbills (1966) were on thin one-sided typing weight paper, blank reverse- highly collectible. Later these designs were printed as divided back postcards. The posters were also reprinted full-size as 2nd,3rd,4th,etc editions.
Some extremely famous pieces (FD-26, Skull & Roses) have been reproduced countless times, officially and as bootlegs and tourist whatnots.

It's larger than a postcard but not full size poster. I collected a bunch of these when I lived there. This is the only one I seem to have left. I saw the Dead several times and various other bands who weren't hyper-famous, yet. In fact, my roommates and I partied with the Dead a couple of times. Venues like the Fillmore were so much better than today's super concerts in stadiums. (stadia?). In those days you were high whether you smoked or not because it was so ubiquitous you'd get a contact high.

    I'm sure this was a handbill. It's 8"x10".
