Really neat vintage Modernist sterling server with inset amber or simulated amber (I have not tested it and will let our jewelry girl look at it). The hallmark is a M 925 then what looks like a profile. I thought it could be Mauser but I don't think so. There is also a small punch above it with what looks like the letter K K. Approx. length 8.62 inches Any thoughts? Thank you for looking! Glad the site is back up and running! IMG_9824.JPG IMG_9825.JPG IMG_9816.JPG IMG_9817.JPG IMG_9821.JPG IMG_9822.JPG

Seconded on the Polish mark. I can see the lady in the headscarf; add that to the amber and the silver design work and there's no doubt. It's not horribly old is all I can say for sure, but it's definitely silver.

Ditto what was said by the previous posters.
Very Polish with the classic Art Nouveau style, which they make to this day, and Baltic amber. The amber looks untreated.:)
