Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I used to have one that had been turned into a pin.

BTW, recently I learned that young people are getting into learning mah-jongg, among other games. The trend is called "grandma games" I think. Apparently they appreciate something that gets them away from the digital life. And they get together in groups, so actually interact with others in person. Sounds good!

Yes, I have a friend who has an all-girl mahjong group that she plays in. I play mahjong 2-3 times a month at my local Chinese club with my friends.

The good thing about mahjong sets is that they're pretty compact and stackable.

The bad thing about mahjong sets is that they get heavy FAST.

And the best thing is that they sell well :D
Unfortunately a certain someone made it nearly impossible to sell sets to the US, by implementing new import regulations and higher tariffs.... :shifty:

2 more sets have arrived :D
Forgot to take pics of the one that came in yesterday, but that was a standard vintage set with small tiles in a box with sliding lid.
The other set, is this one...

Not bad. The wood needs some serious treatment, but other than that, looks nice.

This is what the label on the back of the door would've looked like...
