Don't tell the thrift store what those are! They look like restring-me bait, but even so...bingo!

Nice thrift store find this week. Paid a bit more than my typical thrift finds but seems to be well worth buying . This tazza is by Antonio da Ros for Cenedese, Murano. Was produced in 1963 and seems to be rare. Large and heavy, at 13" diameter x about 9" tall. Weighs approximately 20 lbs.!

Here is the mark. I did not know exactly what this was when I found it but knew it was probably good.

That is a CHUNK. Definitely worth grabbing..if you can pick it up. I bet it's worth more than you paid.

Not according to eBoo. They want sellers to use a time machine and get it there before the buyer knew they wanted it.

I offered to inspect the jewelry for the thrift and tell them what everything was because it's my pet charity and my jewelry hoard will outlive me. I store things in plastic shoeboxes. I will pm you in a while. I have enough and find things all over. They refused me, saying Sally Smith from LA LA Land Estate Sales (fictitious names) was helping them. Sally sells jewelry for set prices, no matter if it's from the Dollar Store or vintage sterling. So I have cleaned up at Sally's estate sales. Now in turn, I donate a lot to my pet charity, including money. I believe one must give to receive.

I know those estate sale types. I've cleaned up at one company too. They do set prices on the jewelry, but at known for expertise with getting top prices for everything else. If I were you, I'd make out like a bandit with impunity.

    I'm de-hoarding a bit too.
