I bought this from a street vendor a couple of weeks back. I think some of the letters on it are 'ersparniskasse'. Rough translation is savings account from German. Although I think its Swiss. I think it is some kind of token rather than currency. The vendor had a load of coins for £1 each but most had facsimile stamps or had it written on the card. This could be a facsimile also but isn't marked as such. I cant find anything like it with lens search. Any ideas please?

I don't think it is a milled coin nor a hammered variety.
    Maybe a Lead Seal

Ahhh okay. Could be. Maybe some kind of security seal at a bank?
