    Hello everyone!
I want to establish a rough idea as to when this ceiling bowl could have been fabricated. It is made from gypsum alabaster and has a diameter of 330mm and a height of 70mm. It was acquired in 2000, but beyond this, there is no knowledge of where this piece was fabricated, nor an understanding of the decorative style it evokes.

The 2 pics are of the same piece? I'm missing something here...

Did the fixture get broken or is it in 2 pieces and your 2nd photo is just the center?

It looks 1920s to me, but it also looks like it has had a life.
    Most likely Italian made.

Could be. It is difficult to see if that straight crack is all the way through.

One photo is inside the bowl and the other outside, its been glued back together after breaking.
    I would say 20's
If reused the heat from any bulb could melt the glue.

1920s would be considered Edwardian, fyi. And you have no hardware? It would help confirm date.
