    Greetings!
I acquired a beautiful tea set that belonged to a gentleman's mother - or grandmother? - and would like to learn more about it.
The set includes a teapot, cream (or milk?) jug, and 6 cups & saucers (no sugar bowl found). They are ruby red glass with a scene of what I take to be "Commedia Dell'arte" figures painted around the circumferences, along with heavy gold embellishments. (The gold feels similar to the silver overlay on a green glass set from the same estate.)
In my attempts to research online, I have found only a very few similar pieces, with various terminology thrown around, such as "Venetian Murano", "Commedia Dell'arte", "Moser", "Salviati", "Ruby Glass", and so on.
I am sure some of those terms apply, but would like to narrow it down to the most accurate ones and eliminate any that don't belong. Any opinions about the time period are also welcome.
I'm also curious about the value - I've only seen a couple items showing prices, and even those vary widely, from (less than) $345 for a 15-piece set (date sold, unknown) to a Cup & 2 Saucers set currently offered for 398 euro - big difference!
I have attached pictures of the Teapot, Creamer, and one Cup & Saucer. I welcome any and all comments and opinions about these. Thanx in advance!

Yes, very pretty! I agree Italian. Possibly Venetian (note the gondola) but I hesitate to attribute it to Murano or any specific manufacturer. $345 seems a fair price for a 15 piece set. Whoever is pricing the cup and and 2 saucers set is dreaming. Without a hands-on apparaisal I can't say for sure, but it looks decalled with a few handpainted accents. If I was selling my title would read something like Venetian Murano Style Ruby 14 Piece Tea Set - Commedia Dell'arte Decoration. If that's too many words for a title you can drop the word "decoration".

Thanx... I added a close-up picture of the jug decoration. Does that look like paint, or decal?

    Is it this set?

On one of the pics, there seems to be something written on the bottom of what appears to be the teapot. Or is this just a reflection?

Not MY set - but it looks a lot like it.
Is that a current listing? I didn't find it.
... Oh, I did see the page that is on. That set is very similar, but close examination shows slight differences.

    I found it here
    https://thevintagemuranoglass.com/v...-teaset-commedia-dell-arte-enamel-figures.php
I think it's an old listing. If you click on the 'more info on ebay' button on that site, you're redirected to ebay, but you only get to see a list of current items that can be found with "Vintage Italian Murano Glass Teaset Commedia Dell'arte Enamel Figures"

Now I see that the figures are indeed different.
And the pieces from the other site have a golden bottom rim... but I don't see that gold in the close-up pic of the (possibly) signed item
