Featured Late 1700s Air Twist Ale Glass

    I'm new to this type of glassware. I'm trying to figure out what kind of twist this is. It's a double twist, but are both twists glass or does one look like glass and the other cotton? Thanks so much, Janice

    All-glass...one threaded, the other matte finished.
    Looks like a very skilled technique.
    Very simple overall, an' Elegant!

    You might want to search on eBay "Latticino" stemware. Although I don't think yours is latticino but it will bring up many similar glasses to give you a ballpark idea of what they are. Also search Air twist Stem. for more similar goblets.
    I LIKE them and they are definitely interesting!

    I think I had a Steuben with that swirl once.
