Not marked, but online research indicates it's a McCoy item. It always reminded me of Ronald Reagan.

AI says: The McCoy "Jolly Sailor" Bank is a highly collectible, vintage ceramic piggy bank produced by the Nelson McCoy Pottery Company as a promotional item for the Seamen's Bank for Savings. Originally distributed in the 1940s and 1950s, these mid-century banks typically sell for between $40 and $115.

I'm fairly certain that he is McCoy. There are several post in the FB McCoy Pottery group stating that he is.

Sure looks like Ronnie. He did a pile of films for the Army and maybe others during the War, eyes were too bad to serve in the field, and they could easily have picked up the face.

Fairly common McCoy bank. $40 would be a stretch. Cool item but not hard to find.

EBay solds are telling a different story. 23 banks sold with only two over $40. With a little patience you can get one for under $20. I'd like to find out where they are getting those kind of Worthpoint prices for McCoy. I've got hundreds of pieces I need to unload.

I agree Most do sell sub $40. As I stated - my two examples were:

outlier is a data point or observation that significantly deviates from the rest of a dataset, standing out as an extreme value or anomaly.

    We love selling outliers.
