I'd appreciate any comments on this large brown painting I got at a garage sale.

60x80 cm, it says on back

ai translate says the Greek letters say something like Delphi... some #s, so maybe a place

the tape on the back is a small repair

    Thanks as always!

I think it's the name and registration no. of a fishing boat

Others might say 'insane', 'stubborn' or 'autistic'. I think it's a bit of everything. :D

I see DELPHIALM143; the change in font size leads me to think the lambda mu is not part of Delphia.

Many of the fishing vessel registration codes in the xlsx file I mentioned, have 2 letters followed by a number, so LM 143 was the registration code for the vessel named Delphia

I'm very into Greek boats at the moment: I've had a brace on my left wrist since mid-April, to help my broken scaphoid bone to mend.

Tiddly compared to the tripod fracture of my zygoma, but with more possibility of complications, so being very careful.
