Featured Liqueur / Water Glass

    Only when I started taking these photos, I noticed the initials.
    No idea what the meaning of that colon is.

    I see similar glasses being described as 19th C (from early to late) and early 1900s. Who's right?

    :arghh: Only now I noticed that the bladed knop (a term that I learned just now :D) is chipped

    I think it's a wine glass. Is the pattern cut? If so, looks a bit busy for 18th to early 19th.

    I just got Phelps Warren's book on Irish glass. Not as many photos as I'd like, and not one exactly like yours, but the motifs are quite similar. With that monogram, I'd think you'd be looking at early 19th century. Stay cool - heat here in coastal SC is blazing.

    34C + high humidity + A/C not working = Hell... :arghh:
    Sitting here in swim shorts, eating ice cream :D
