oil lamp, any idea about age and origin?

Does anybody have some idea what age and origin of this lamp could be? Please.
Oil lamp, brass + glass, 2 wicks, believed to be French

 

I would guess late 1800s early 1900s

sometimes the wheel hints towards the origin. not here sadly, Plempel has this as unknown Duplex.

Plempel has the most complete listing of burner wheels going. The shade looks French, but the lamp could be from about anywhere. Not sure they began life together.

they actually allow to copy now. the old list was a bit ...hmmmm... complicated. when Plempel started to make his collection public, he still renovated and bought/sold lamps. and there are still 25-odd years old listings in DOS flying around on the internet - in German only.

not exactly the same but there is a SUN and letter F so is on mine, maybe earlier and late logo for the same company.

 

can't remember, but the F has another meaning. fiat lux ? fire ?

 

or the symbol for focal length ?

 

I will go for Falk, Stadelmann & C°, at least the burner, lamp body has no label or sign so probably was made later by different manufacturer also the shade is not original but nice.
