    Hi, Folks-
Maybe a lost cause here but you experts often surprise me. Anybody know anything about this 8" vase? The clay is a rough-textured gray-brown. A thin white line and another which reminds me of a hospital's heart monitor graph provide the decoration. The incised signature is impossible to read dry and not much better wet. Doesn't seem like an amateur piece so...? Thanks for thinking about this. DSCN1099.JPG DSCN1100.JPG DSCN1101.JPG DSCN1102.JPG DSCN1103.JPG

"Geoffrey Walsh was a well known, and well respected potter who lived in the Sarasota area. After his passing, his home and studio remained untouched for some time. If you knew him, one thing you knew about him is that he was meticulous and a craftsman of the highest degree.
Now as they move forward, they have the very difficult task of dismantling and selling his studio equipment, chemicals, and other studio items.
His son will be at out potters guild meeting on Thursday, where he will talk about the various items for sale: Venco deairing pugmill; glaze chemicals; extruder; metal oxides; etc.
For the right person, they will be selling his home with a detached studio and gas kiln - the perfect opportunity for the right person!!
Once the items for sale have been presented at Thursday's potters guild meeting, we will post a separate listing of items still available.
Hope to see you all there!"

I don't know what a deairing pugmill is, but I feel I want one, just to say, ever so casually, that I have one.

Something along the lines of "Watch your step. You don't want to trip over the deairing pugmill now, do you?

Had my heart set on an airing pugmill. Suppose I'd settle for a deairing one.
