Featured Enhancing B & W Photos

    I've been experimenting with some B&W photos of my Dad from WWII
    I used free credits with AI colourized programmes

    I'm really pleased with the results, it has brought them to life.

    This was 1939 so my Dad would have been 18-19 years old.

    My credits have run out for another 8 hours, I don't know how many I get before having to pay, I have a lot of b&w pics so I probably will sign up.

    I aim to do this one later, it was taken in or around Halifax, Nova Scotia.

    My Dad had to stay for six weeks whilst the ship was repaired, it had been sabotaged by some French Canadian Vichy fella.
    He poured sand into the engine pistons.

    He was billeted with a Lobster fishing family and even dated their daughter and drove their car, he was chaperoned at all times though.

    AI has identified the car as a 1936 Chevrolet Master Deluxe.

    & I can just make out a badge above the corporal stripes too....fantastic !!!!!

    that program seems like it's worth the price of admission !!!!!

    Those are really neat. The old black and white photos are history. The colorized ones are a way to see what things were really like.

    I did the one of my Dad and the Chevy.

    The car came out superb but the face on my Dad was someone else
    I suppose there is a problem with limited facial features.

    Mum and Dads wedding came out good, 1945, 2 days leave and a honeymoon in Scarborough.
