    Hello everyone
Today I'm showing you this beautiful peace,
that comes from the parental home of my brother-in-law, who didn't like it that much.

Although everything points to Val St. Lambert, the signature is not entirely clear to me.

I have looked it up and compared the signatures, but there is 1 letter that I cannot explain. (if it is a letter)

    Vase, VAL ST. LAMBERT
    The vase is signed manually
    Color: Blank ruby red
    No burrs, shipjes
    Dimensions: Ø: 8.9 cm Hight: 21.2 cm

I agree. Beautiful vase! I know where it could find a good home regardless of the variation in the signature.

    Hello Blooey
If I wanted to sell this vase, I would like to know for sure whether this is a real vase from Val St. Lambert.:)

There are so many fake copies in circulation.:nailbiting:

Of course! I was simply throwing in a quick two cents to offer a potential avenue for your research. I do see that the resemblance to sig #39 is a bit of a stretch... as is the resemblance to the "usual" VSL signatures, hence your inquiry here.
But perhaps you don't realize that all of those signatures in my post are official VSL signatures? The catalog pictures I posted include a page that explains version #39 is from around 1970. Moot point, I know, if the consensus is that your sig does not resemble #39, LOL.

    https://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Signaturen.49.0.html

There have been many styles of VSL signatures so that alone can neither confirm nor negate authenticity.
There are also many "almost" VSL items.

Thanks so much for this, as I didn't understand this from your original post, but that's probably because I know nothing about the subject.

I believe it was my bad... my original post was a bit slapdash (I was getting ready to leave for work) and I did not make my thoughts very clear. :)

Jeanny, you are doing fine with the translator. Any translation questions, just ask, I am only a tag away.:) I can even translate from Limburgs, if needed.:playful:
