Featured James Dean 1955 Dexedrine Ebay

    One of the weirder things I've seen on Ebay-a 1955 Dexedrine bottle w/ an RX for James Dean. It sold for $1250 (eBay item number:257518705641).
    Here's a snippet of the description:

    "The product is an empty bottle from 1955 belonging to movie legend James Dean, which was given to the product's current owner by Dennis Hopper...It comes with a brief letter that was typed and then signed by Dennis and Notarized making it a legal document. I will also include my own COA from Movie Star Clothing, llc stating this is the original bottle from Dennis Hopper."

    I didn't know about Dexedrine, had to look it up. Internet said it's used to treat AD/HD and narcolepsy. Is that why James Dean always looked like he was asleep?

    I always thought 'dexies' were to keep truck drivers and jitterbuggers hoppin' ?
