Help identifying miniature figures

    These are like 60 mm tall and I think made by Veltrunni in 1930s and 40s. I picked up a horde of these and need help identifying them. Here are the first two:

    With huge ruff, pearls & reddish hair, I thought Queen Elizabeth I. Louis XIV was my thought also for the man.

    I don't buy Elizabeth I for the lady. The Queen was known for ornate court gowns, and a brown dress just wouldn't have cut it. Her hair is undecorated too.
