Featured Mark help on cobalt cache pot with silver overlay

Very nice quality piece. Dumb dumbs at sale placed the very sticky price sticker right over the dragons whiskers/snout. Took off some of the silver and the patina with it when peeled. Sunshine cloth to silver or leave it alone? I think someone showed a pretty nice silver overlay transformation recently. I’d think it’s a Continental piece but I can’t be sure. Anyone recognize the faint and blurry mark?

I'd say, polish if keeping it, leave as-is if selling it.

If a price sticker lifted any of it, I would not approach it with more than a dust cloth. Just a thought.

I learned the hard way. Now, on those rare occasions when faced with modern adhesives, I reach first for Alcohol, then Petroleum solvent...a drop or 2 at a time...with emphasis on time, an' repeat applications.
An' of course sometimes I only need the Universal Solvent: H2O!
