Personally, I've suspected shill bidding on some of these newly produced Fenton pieces to try and pump up the market but that's JMHO. You can find a lot prettier older pieces for a lot better price with just a little searching. But then again, one of the things I thought hurt Fenton was that near the end they were over-decorating their pieces and chasing fewer buyers at higher prices.

 

I agree! I really never liked any of their over-painted pieces. They looked like "way too much".
