Well I promise I'm not an ai bot. Although, an ai bot would probably say something like that. Unfortunately he deleted his post lol. So basically I have a dresser that was produced by the maker of Charles Dickens furnishings and who subsequently auctioned off his belongings. My dresser was produced in similar time frame, but is likely just from the same area as I have nothing but a story that it was from Dickens estates. Knowing that this was purchased decades ago for a hefty price any idea on value on it today?

Unfortunately, antique wood furniture is not bringing anywhere near what it used to bring. Here is a site with over 3000 English mahogany chest of drawers at auction. Prices sold are available to members, but sign-up is free. Most sell in the $200-500 range. I looked through about 20 pages here but didn't find anything terribly similar to yours. I don't think that matters all that much. Most people are buying to use and, while a pleasing configuration might sway them in a certain direction, price over form will generally win out. Retail prices in a high-end shop will be higher, as will insurance values.
