Sumo Teacups?

    I bought two of these boxes as part of an auction lot of oriental porcelain, each with 5 lovely porcelain bowls approx 4.25" diameter (though bowls are not quite circular) and 2.2 inches tall

    On the side of the box is handwritten on a sticker "Sumo teacups", the box itself looks to be circa 1960s but I may be way out

    Fortunately the box is labelled and there is a small printed leaflet, unfortunately I cannot translate either nor can I make out the very tiny backstamp :(

    Those are nice!
    But they don't look all that heavy or fat. ;)
