    Hello everyone!

I recently bought this vintage brooch at a secondhand shop in Japan, and I’m trying to identify the maker behind the mark.

The brooch has a distinctive flower-and-stem mark on the back. I have also found other vintage brooches in Japan with what appears to be the exact same flower-and-stem mark, but none of them has a brand name or any other obvious maker’s mark.

I asked someone knowledgeable about vintage jewelry, and their best guess was Florenza. However, I have not been able to confirm that this particular flower-and-stem mark was actually used by Florenza, so I’m still unsure.

    Does anyone recognize this mark?

I would especially like to know:

    ●Who used this flower-and-stem mark?

    ●Is it a Florenza mark?

●Is it another jewelry maker or manufacturer?

●Does anyone have a reference showing this exact mark being used?

The fact that I have found several different vintage brooches with the same mark makes me think it may be a maker’s mark rather than a random decorative symbol.

Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you for your help!

    Best regards,Taeka

Hello Taeka. As far as I know Florenza only mark their jewellery like this: FLORENZA©.

I don't know whose mark your flower mark is, but those a pretty brooches.

Welcome. Florenza marked their pieces Florenza. Neither of these look in the least like that company's items. I've seen the flower, but have no name.

Thank you everyone for your help and for taking the time to look at my brooch! It seems that Florenza can probably be ruled out after all.
I’m still very curious about this flower mark, especially since I’ve found the same mark on several different vintage brooches in Japan.I really appreciate everyone’s suggestions and information. I’ll keep searching for the maker!

    Best regards,Taeka

I may have found another possible clue.

While researching this flower-and-stem maker’s mark, I came across a British jewellery brand called Daisy. I also found another vintage brooch with what appears to be the same flower-and-stem mark, and the listing described it as a UK vintage “Daisy” piece.

Could this mark possibly be associated with a British jewellery brand called Daisy?

I am not certain at all, so I would really appreciate it if someone could confirm or rule this out.

    Thank you!

Doesn't look like a daisy to my eye. Most likely 1980s, if that helps.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I see a modern brand, Daisy London, founded in 2009. But their jewelry looks quite modern, doesn't try to look like an older style, as far as I can tell. Also, they seem to always have the word DAISY in their pieces.

Is that the company you found mentioned? If not, could you tell more about what you found?
