    Hello everyone,
I'm back again with a question about this piece. I am finding it is nearly impossible to find a replacement lid for this sugar pourer. I have reached out to every company I can think of that sells lids, and no one has anything even close that will fit.

I got this for my mom for Christmas and we have spent probably about 7 weeks now going to every single antique store, thrift shop, goodwill, craft store, etc. that we can find within 2 hours of where we live. I have scoured ebay, craigslist, everything for another complete piece with a better lid because it is just not possible to find a replacement. The antique store where I bought this one had three more- but the lids were already rotted through on the other ones. Also, he was way overpriced for the condition but I had not found another one so I purchased it thinking finding a new lid would be easy- boy was I wrong.

I actually wanted a clear one but this works since green is her favorite color. It does fluoresce.

Any ideas? Or a line on a clear one? I would just prefer to get a new piece that is still in a usable condition and display this one as is, but I am getting discouraged.

Thanks for posting it. I have never seen such a thing before. Was there a plug or anything to keep out moisture and bugs?

I have done that and then some. No luck. This is a metric lid.

Hi, If this is American it would not have a metric size. I am sure it is Paden City and not have a metric size especially from the 1930s/40s.
