    Looks like C or G in a shield alike.
    Any idea of the maker?
    Thanks

    Thanks for the suggestion. So far I cannot find that mark on their pieces.

    Does anyone know how to find butchiedog's old page of marks.
    I used to have it bookmarked, but he let the page go.
    Is it archived somewhere? I don't know how to find it.

    Pat, I have the zip files he offered for download on the eBay forums a while back. Each mark is a separate jpg / photo file, and you can scroll through the folder with your computer's photo viewer.

    I don't see a way to upload files here. Let me ask if / how the board owners would mind if I tried to post it.

    • G (stylized capital G inside a square, as shown in accompanying pic)……………Gamer Packaging, Minneapolis, MN. (1987-to date). Gamer Packaging is a distributor/wholesaler of glass bottles as well as other types of packaging including plastic and metal containers. Some items are manufactured directly by them, others by arrangement with other companies. Gamer apparently has an arrangement with Ardagh Group (which includes former Anchor Glass manufacturing plants) to supply glass bottles to their customers. Although Ardagh is mentioned on the official Gamer site, other unnamed glass firms might also supply some bottles sold by/through Gamer Packaging. It is unclear exactly where any particular bottle with this “G” mark might have been made, but possibly at any of the Ardagh glassmaking plants (9 locations in the US, see list under Anchor, page one), or other unspecified glass companies located in Asia, specifically, China. The bottle with this particular mark (shown) was sold by Fentimans (DrinkFentimans.com).
    As a maybe. I'll keep searching

    @UncleChuckTX
    Probably too much to upload.

    Can you find the "C" inside the shield in buthchiedogs listing. I seem to remember it being there.

    OK, I'm going to ask my eye doctor for my money back.
    And I shall not be contributing to threads asking for an ID on anything less that 4 inches square.

    Until CC mentioned C inside shield and made me look again, all I had seen was a stylized G.

    Doc keeps telling me I don't need glasses. HAH!
