I got it at auction. I paid $10 for it. Too much I suppose. Lol

    ahhhhhhh...

No, not too much, if you like it and use it. :)

You could sell it for a little more. But it's really nice and would make a great gift, absolutely.

Definitely a new import item. I suspect that a lot of the components are resin.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

I'd have paid the $10.00 for it easily!!!!!

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I like this! And I also agree that it is not old, but it is pretty cool. :cat::cat:

I used cold air max power hair dryer to clean dust from similar small place, but of course take the item outside... if it is possible. If not possible and I can do only home: I am keeping small wet towel behind the part I am cleaning with dryer. In this way the dust just stick to the towel instead of "flying" far...far...way in the house.

Did you ask me? :wacky: If yes: NO, I was talking about some (usually small) decorative items made with a lot small "spaces" and "hole"... Ornate style... or "lace" looked. There is no problem use tiny painting brushes or even baby tooth brush, but when "spaces" and "hole" go thru the items and there is NO way you can wash / clean it / remove dust - I just "blow away" it.

Oh! About tassels. Usually I put them with very wet big bath towel in the dryers machine and when they (tassels) are "jumping" & "fighting" with towel during drying, the dust from tassels are sticking to the wet towel. Same I do with stuffed toys. :joyful:

The round steel bar-stock that's been bent into curvy shapes appears joined to other parts by arc welding. That almost certainly Indicates a post-WW2 item.
