What kind of lamp is this?

    Hello all, completely new here and don't really know anything about antiques. I need some help identifying a lamp that belonged to my mother-in law's grandmother, so I can research it a bit better to assess what it's value is (if anything). We are having a yard sale this weekend and I wanted to be sure I didn't let this go if it has any real value. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    50s-60-s pseudo tole-painted colonial style faux oil lamp. I have always hated this look but it seems to have gained a following in recent years. You won't get rich off it but better than the price of most garage sale lamps.

    Here are completed sold listings on ebay for similar. At the end there are some that don't fit at all so just mostly the first 20 or so.

    Awesome! Thanks for the info, that's what I was looking for. I know I don't have some rare find, but just wanted to be sure before I sold it for $5

    Thanks for you link! I just bring from storage a shade for floor lamp I don't need anymore and was going to sale it and I found exact the same thru your link and know what price I could sale it. :joyful: s-l225.jpg
