Old Verdigris Brass (?) Antique “guy” sculpture”

Old Verdigris Brass (?) Antique “guy” sculpture”.

Please help to find “who” is it and “what” is it.

Sculpture with base 14” H and weigh 4 lbs. 9 oz. I think it made from brass, though there are different look spots of metal are visible thru verdigris: most of them look like a brass, some of them in bronze color and few in copper color. The “fluffy stuff” in the hand made from copper. Not sure about the base, but for me it doesn’t look like a marble… it is slightly yellowish… maybe alabaster… It is only my opinion, but I have no idea what it is and how old it is and why this guy onehanded….. There is no any sign… even at the feet. (Of course I have unscrewed and check it already. Help please!

DH says it might be a Greek charioteer wearing the long chiton (dress in "my" language) and carrying a whip.
