New acquisition. Anyone know what it might be?

I was surprised to see how much detail was visible using the flash. In normal light it appears a good deal darker. No markings on bottom or anywhere else I can find. Appears to be Asian or someone's idea of Asian.

Cleaned it with a damp rag and mild detergent; the top looks a lot duller than the sides as though it has been sitting somewhere a long time. I expected the rag to go yellow or brown as I cleaned (tobacco smoke?) but oddly enough got very little dirt. Almost looks like a raku glaze.

I do not... but he looks ancient and scary, and I bet those are macaw feathers in his headdress, and if you're gonna kick him in the shins, better aim for his left. That's all I got.
    Tell!

He's a Maya prince dressed ceremonially as a ballplayer. From the unpublished Ancient Maya Coloring Book. Here's another one. Ixchel, the moon goddess.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

    My birds are more impressionistic...
But I admire realistic precision... more than I can say.
    Thanks for sharing.
