Bell Trading Post pieces aren't considered NA made, although a number of NA silversmiths worked for them.

Most of what I've seen they are calling them NA. But to be correct ill use Southwestern.

There are many ignorant people selling items with no clue about who actually made them, take a look at the law............. https://www.doi.gov/iacb/act

Well apparently B T P Is considered NA jewelry. Or a hundred or so ebay listings would have been deleted.

I've always admired the Navajo sand paintings. And it was the most expensive of the group from that place. Lol

Thank you Pat, But to clarify i never planned on calling it Navajo. Just the name and southwestern is good enough.

Bell Trading Post did employ some Native Americans, but that's as close as they got to being the real thing.

Unless it's your listing, of course. The Chinese junk peddlers and other mass sellers can do whatever they want, but the little guys will get slapped if they step one letter out of line.

It's still a little better than Facebook Marketplace, where they red flag items for being not allowed and there's no real appeal. (You can appeal, but good luck with that.) The items they yank are random, but are most often round. Round anything.

Close-up pics are always a pain. Try to take it from a bit further away and crop the photo, that often helps. The style looks Zuni. Similar items were also made in Santo Domingo NM.
