Unknown Urn About 15" x 5" 4lbs

    if it was European I'd say 1950s mantelpiece urn vase due to the round foot. a mixture of styles with a female figure that was also used in art nouveau and lionheads used everywhere.

    So would I be correct to say it has Victorian (lions heads); Neoclassical (round foot, female figures garbed in what appear to be peploses and himations); and Art Nouveau (women depicted in what were considered risque poses at the time) styles?

    those round feet showed up post-WWII again. scantily clad women are en vogue since Eve.

    I'm with fid, it looks 20th century. Attractive for interior decorators, but not much detail or finesse in the execution.

    those that were intended as lamp had mostly a thick ring at the top, either outside or in most cases inside, not to bend the collar when the screws of the rest were tightened.
