Ronson Service Corps Lighter Military?

    Was the Service Corps a military thing? Lighter says Service Corps 63 on 1 side and Mrs. Viau on the back.

    Looks like it to me but it may not exactly be in this case though it is probably the same design.
    Is that G5 or 65?
    ~
    G5 would be a service level, probably a civilian.

    The service corps was the 1950s name for what in earlier armies were called the 'camp followers', bands of ladies of negotiable virtue there to service the soldiers. 63 is the particular service corps and Mrs Viau (sometimes known as Ping Pong Patty) was her business name.
