HELP WITH ARTIST'S NAME ON NEW PAINTING

    I found this at my local thrift store today. I'm not sure why but something about it makes me go back & look again (maybe because it looked like a older painting than the 1986 date on it?

    As for the artist's name, I see Helcia? But nothing comes up when I googled it. Also - doesn't it look like there was another signature in the lower left (last photo)?

    Painting measures 12" x 26" not counting frame.

    Thanks for any info/thoughts

    I would have looked twice too, but not for good reasons, not sure how much research is merited by this piece.
