I found something amazing today I thought I would share, of course some of you might already know of this.
So, One of my Christmas presents from hubby is a lovely Victorian box for sewing and vanity.
There are a pair of lovely scent bottles in it but one of the stoppers was jammed in tight so I went online to find a solution.
Amongst other remedies was this and so many people said it worked, I was VERY skeptical though.
Take a wooden spoon and gently tap around the bottle, I did that around the neck several times but nothing happened......I knew it I thought....
So then I gave the sides of the head of the stopper a couple of gentle taps and it just fell out......
I still can't believe it worked........
    Magic? ;)

No, it wasn't in my hand more than a minute or two and I was holding it at the base.
I'm wondering if the tapping on the glass sends in vibrations?
I really didn't believe it would work in spite of so many people saying it does :)

    Hi,
I used to do that until I had a neck snap off. I always use alcohol, soaking around the mouth and rim and let chemistry do the work.

I was a bit apprehensive but I tapped very gently, I'll keep the alcohol tip in mind though :)

WD40 will do instead of alcohol.

    Hi,
The only trouble is the smell and it is hard to wash off. Alcohol is easier.
