So I am going through boxes from a new estate and I love it cause it's like Christmas. I mean you just never know what you might pull out next. This particular estate has been a blessing. I think most of these items will do well. The price is right. All no reserve items. This was basically an entire estate so while I looked around at what she had and we discussed the big stuff there were loads of boxes that are just nick naks and honestly, who knows what I might find. It is my favorite part of this job. I have found several of these little dogs. All a little different. Some have some interesting hallmarks but I am not familiar with them off hand. I remember my great grandmother having some dogs like this but I don't think hers were as nice. They didn't have any marks that for sure. One is made of cast iron or something and it looks like it says Great Smokey Mountains. Maybe a souvenir from a trip?

Anyways, the are cuter than the hippo.

Not gonna lie I love these little guys. LOL! Every time I unwrapped one I got this huge rush of excitement. There may be more. I haven't even scratched the service of these boxes. There are a lot of boxes.

I love the wistful one with the crossed paws.

Kasper, do you also do ebay auctions? This is the sort of item that usually does very well on ebay, perhaps much better there than in a real life action auction.

The little rodent looks like carved red jasper.

I think that one is Chinese or something. Mexican? It's cute.

Cute! The first one looks like some kind of setter to me. The crouching one looks like a jack russell terrier.

The reddish one is something for the Jack Russell to chase. Have to keep those dogs busy! What fun to open up all the boxes!
