I found this in a storage unit won at auction. I found a picture of 2 of these pulling a cart (with a string for the child to pull them) in a 1940's or 1950's German toy catalogue but now I can't find the catalogue - can anyone tell me the toy maker of this & the era it's from?
It has a small wheel inside each hoof so it can roll while being pulled.
And it does not have a single maker's mark that I find!
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Much thanks!

I do suspect the red & white rope is a replacement.

Stehan might have been the name of the catalogue! But the link said their horses had hair for mane & tails and mine doesn't. But that name does sound familiar!
