    Looks like London around 1839, is trust right?

    London in very thick fog.;) No smog, which was pretty unique in 1839.

    Pic isn't the best focus - could be a c for 1960 instead of an e for 1958.

    Would good to see what the letters are in the maker's mark.

    I wouldn't say that, Terry - but the letter shapes are definitely not distinct enough in this time frame.

    Question for you, estaterestate - what made you think the date was 1839 or thereabouts?

    The makers mark, I only found a few in one of them was from the 19 century so it seems to be a match

    Except that the maker's mark is not clear enough. Perhaps poorly struck or worn. I don't think it is AJ.
