I wonder who's idea it was to paint the frog ?!?

 

I bet he did it as a "cold paint" trial.

 

I don't know who painted it, I know it was not me, maybe the artist, or the person before me that had it.

 

I do believe the artist did it in an attempt at mimicking the look of an antique bronze cold-painted figure. When I first looked at it, that's what I thought it might be.

A fellow Marylander! He has some nice work. I'm surprised he doesn't list his bronze sculpture on the site. Have to bookmark him, and see if I find any of his things out there.
