S. Giminiano Italy coat of arms plaque

    When searching S. Giminiano, google keeps changing it to S. Gimignano. Is S. Giminiano a place (San Giminiano)? I'm very confused, and not finding much information out there about this piece. I did find an identical piece here

    Just wondering about the description, and if it is correct. Is it majolica? Mid-century? I wonder what the selling price was. The seller thought the spelling should to be S. Gimignano?

    Thanks Af, I agree rather crude. That makes sense to me now, a tourist item from San Geminiano. I couldn't figure out why it read that plus made in Italy.
