Bennington Bear Wanna Be??

    I this anything special, or a wanna be? Mom packed the bear & book together. No marking that i can find. Other than a small chipped area on back (identified by the pencil tip), all other appearances of chips are sticker residue or reflections. Thanks in advance for a quick look & opinion. I have NO idea what's going on on the underside. Something tells me this is going to have to leave and find another house to play in.

    I doubt you want another search term but that dark glaze is often called Rockingham. There were other potteries that made a Rockingham glaze than just those in Bennington. If it's old.
