Silver starfish. What is the green inlay?

    Hi all. Happy Humpday.
    Can someone tell me what this green inlay is on this Silver Starfish pendant. it is marked Mex and 925 on the back. haven't tested it yet though. it is about 1 3/4" not including the bale.
