The peace symbol has a darker blue outer layer and a lighter blue middle area.
The dimensions are 2 1/2" x 1/4" x 1/4". I would like to find out what this dark blue outer edge and lighter middle object that I have called Peace Symbol being displayed is and its material, the decade this was made and if this is a tie clip? Something tells me this is not a tie clip. Thank you for your assistance in this request. Rob

Hard to tell from you photographs but... Typically, if something isn't a tie clip, it's a money clip. And peace symbol? Don't see it.

The material making up the 2 blue areas is probably enamel - but not a Peace Symbol to me either.

The metal of most of the pin or clip appears to be brass, although the part making the center may be something else.

That's a wire tie bar/clip, they were common from around the 1930s-'50s - with that little enamel plaque, would be an earlier piece...

Thank you for confirming that this is a tie clip and that your pa had a few of them.

Thank you for your effort and I think we both learned something. Actually, I was think the object was peace fish and I was wrong about that. Rob

Thank you for letting me know what took its place. I also have vintage tie clips that just clip on the tie as well as cuff links. Rob
