Metal Religious Plaque

Metal plaque attached to a piece of wood. The Sacred heart Of Jesus with a small rosary and crucifix below. Non magnetic and the whole piece weighs in at about 4 pounds. I have not tried to remove plaque yet but could if necessary. Measures 14" tall and is 8 1/4" wide, including the wood plaque. Anybody have any idea of age or any information about this piece .

 

I wouldn't disassemble anything yet until you know much more.

 

My goal is to not tear it apart, just hoping it works out that way.

 

Well, I can confirm that it's a (very) Catholic image and passage. That's all I've got.

 

I like the rosary at the bottom.....nice touch.
Sure, if you can remove the nails ( the top one already started a crack in the wood..) , WITHOUT otherwise harming any one piece.....in a way that it could be put back......I don't see a problem...

 

The whole thing looks like a rosary - with the short end to start at the bottom and then going around the image via the dots on the outside. 5 decades.
