    Hi Kasper,
I must have a hundred different keys sizes from itty bitty to 7". I have used so many of them to fit cabinets and stuff that I am down to 100 from 500.

Yes! You will have boxes, trunks, furniture and clocks that won't have them.

I'm not comfortable with that call so maybe Greg and others.
At least one will be priceless some day with what you do.

Funny story. We have two large file cabinets up here. We don't have keys for them. I was really frustrated because they kept locking and I couldn't figure out how. Not all the drawers just some of them.

I pried on them and poked them and just about beat the dickens out of them trying to get them open. I tried picking the lock and the dang lock just fell out. So my husband was up here and I said can you please pick these locks for me because I can't get to my tools are or cleaning supplies. (Which is what everyone keeps in file cabinets right?) LOL!

Anyways, My husband was like sure. He was so proud of himself he said I have this one half way done but I can't get the other. Later in the day I realized these cabinets were not locking at all. It is a safety feature. You can't open more than one drawer at a time. My husband didn't pick the lock he just thought he did. The lock was never locked. LOL! I didn't bother telling him this because ya know he was so proud. LOL! It took me more than 3 months to figure this out. LOL! Not my greatest moment. LOL!

I'm always collecting old keys. I use them to re-key old locks for boxes and stuff that I buy.

I bought a big box of old keys from the flea-market once for $100 and it's been really useful. Whenever I need a key, I dig one out and test it, and sometimes I file it down and re-cut it to fit the lock.

    003.JPG Hi,
Here is one of my "staches" of keys. I found it easier to put certain sets together. I used to have a bag full but I had some "free" time and started to separate them.
