    Hi,
Trying to figure out what shape the glass would have been for this lamp. I've been looking and can't find this exact lamp.
Hope to cut some glass this weekend for it if I can find out the correct shape.
    Any information appreciated.
    Thanks for looking.

    Rounded top fan I think...
    White.
    Translucent.
I don't think it followed behind her arms.

Thanks KOT. Yes, fan shape would work. I hadn't thought of white glass, I think I have some to try.
I'll have to draw out some shapes and try them out before cutting the glass.

Personally I'd put a nice translucent dark blue. ;)
    You know why. :)
    Something with texture.

Yes, blue could work. I was initially thinking a green or red, but will try different colours. It will all depend on the shape.

If you don't buff her up the blue will look good with the brass. :)

I agree - unpolished, blue glass - polished, red glass!

I agree Fan Dancer, so fan shape.

Original glass was probably one of several different glass colors. Satin white, satin pink, textured amber or amber slag.

If you are keeping it, you could put whatever will compliment your color scheme. If selling you want to put something neutral in.

Thanks for all the replies folks.
    No, she won't be polished.
Ladybranch, the ebay link you posted was what I was originally thinking, the glass would fit just the opening.
I was hoping to see what the original glass looked like, but will have to play around and see what I can come with.

I was out getting materials and misc to fix a late 1800s house's corner rot.
Got 90% of it at Habitat and a great 40s ish...I think...ceiling fixture.

Well...well....well..... Lets be more specific: Is it @KingofThings "favorite COLOR" or his "FAVORITE INSIDE" of that color? Because there are many different combinations with that "favorite color"... Here you are the one for example: :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:
