    IMG_2621.jpg IMG_2621.jpg Hi everyone!

My family and I found this in our basement and couldn’t make out what the signature in the bottom says. Does anyone recognize it?

Most studio potters have worse signatures than doctors. Or they use mysterious symbols. Ugh!

The only thing partly readable is the date, either 1993 or 1998.

We may be able to figure out the siggy eventually, so don't give up hope!

Your first picture is back-lit, so is poor quality, dark, no detail.

The middle word looks like MACOMBE to me. Try John Macombe. That's what it looks like to me.

Doing a quick google search shows a John Macomber Pottery. Didn't have time to investigate more. But I bet that could be it!

I think you cracked the code digger.:joyful:
Since you guessed Macombe, I've been finding the same thing. John Macomber, Greenleaf Pottery, somewhere in Connecticut.
