Featured Good day at the auction house

My husband and I have found a local auction house that, as times, has amazing stuff. We usually just go to people watch. Among a few other "smalls", we picked up the Ethan Allen Demilune Console and the Pennsylvania House table (has a stitched label vs the engraved type) for a total of $110. These pics are prior to wiping down. Mostly just lots of dust/dirt and sticker residue. Only minor issues I can live with or have touched up. I have no problem with brown furniture at all!!

The second one looks like it might be a telephone stand. Just guessing at that.

 

A word of caution this is how you end up with a house overflowing with stuff! Been there and done that! Estate auctions have so many great deals that are hard to pass up. I think @clutteredcloset49 may be right on the 2nd piece. Would be great for a large piece of art pottery or a potted plant.

 

Note taken Because we only recently moved, and left many of our non-sentimental or worn-out furniture items behind with the new owners (they were happy to have them), we have need and space. The last thing we want is our down-sizing to become undone.

 

This is the only thing I found on the internet last night. What drew me to it was the drawer and three shelves in a small space. I guess it can be anything you want to turn it into....
