Can anyone give me an idea on the age of this label? It's on a dressing table set that belonged to my nan. IMG_20200203_7371.jpg IMG_20200203_24523.jpg

    Hi KittyScar,
What a nice dresser set. It is amazing that it still has a sticker. Welcome to the forum. the "regulars" will be popping in soon. I think the Superbowl has them tired this morning.

1920s or into the 30s. There's a good site for labels, if Ican recall it.

I've just given a nearly identical set away to a charity just 4 days ago.

I kept the gold and silver I found on the trinket tray though

I was thinking either 1930s or 1950s. Is the atomizer cord cut off?

Post war labels said Bohemia Glass, not made in Bohemia - if there was a Made in, it was Czechoslovakia. Governed by the government collective.

This is typical post war: [IMG]

Thank you for all your responses.

Wow, there really is a site for pretty much everything! Would be quite interested in that site if you can remember it at some point :)

I am undecided to with what to do with my nan's at the moment, it's so pretty but kind of useless to me. This one had lots of coins in, some current UK and lots of foreign for places my nan had never been......

Looking at it I would say it the plastic has fractured rather than been cut.

If you are unsure what to do with it, then pack it away for a while.
People who get rid of things too fast usually regret it later.

If you get stuck on the coins I can help.
I've collected and dealt in coins and banknotes since I was 4 years old.
